EdTech 501 Introduction to Educational Technology

  • I completed this course in the Summer of 2011 with Michael Fuller as the instructor.  This course was a great introduction to the field of Educational Technology.  Assignments ranged from basic moodle tools and videos, such as xtranormal, to RSS feeds, and on to developing a Technology Use Plan and presentation.  This course addressed AECT standards 3,4, and 5 ,with a large focus on utilization, evaluation, and management.

EdTech 502 Internet for Educators

EdTech 521 Online Teaching in the K-12 Environment

  • I completed this course in the Fall of 2011 with Dr. Kerri Rice as the instructor.  This course introduced many new skills and applications to me.   I became familiar using Adobe Connect and presented both asynchronous and synchronous lessons.  My asynchronous lesson was on creating a basic line graph.  My synchronous lesson was on creating a line graph with Google Spreadsheet.

EdTech 523 Advanced Online Teaching Methods

  • This course in the Spring of 2012 with Glori Hinck as the instructor. We continued to learn about synchronous and asynchronous lesson delivery.  With a partner, I created a synchronous lesson on copyrights.
